Over the last few years I've gotten to the point where I really need reading glasses. I still don't like carrying them around, so I hid them everywhere. I actually have a set of prescription drugs that I bought and use for work, but I keep them on my desk most of the time. I already have a lot of glasses from the dollar store but after getting my prescriptions I thought I'd like to get something, maybe not as expensive as these but also not as cheap as the ones I buy for $1. They tend to fall apart or warp easily. That's a good compromise. They are fairly well built and appear to be sturdy. Spring hinges, metal frame. Yes, they may be double the price of some of the others you can buy, but they're a fraction of the prescription I have and they work just as well. They don't look bad either. They're a bit heavier, but hopefully that means they'll last a while. I would definitely consider buying them again if I decide I need more, which I may eventually do.
