The hair dryer doesn't have much power and doesn't get hot, I can actually put my hand under the air and it never burns which sucks because I need some heat. Hair dryers in hotel rooms work better. A flat iron is great for taming that bestial look before bed so you don't scare your man to death. It doesn't straighten your hair like a straightener, but it's better than nothing when you're in a slump.
