While I didn't want to pay that much for a monitor, even an ultrawide monitor, an online review convinced me to pull the trigger for this device. I'm a graphic designer by trade and color accuracy is important: the walls in my office are painted gray so as not to affect my color perception and I had to calibrate all my previous monitors with a colorimeter. Not this monitor, it's ready to use right out of the box. Color accuracy is excellent (it's said to be able to reproduce 99 percent of the sRGB color space), and now all my projects look the same on my computer, iPhone, and iPad. The level of detail is excellent: this is the first time I've worked with anything larger than 1920x1080, and while it's not exactly 4k, the images look amazing. I finally have more screen real estate to work with and it has speeded up my workflow. If you have the money and want great, accurate color, I highly recommend this monitor.
