Pretty good for many uses
I would give them 4 1/2 but apparently can't. They are great for cleaning super hard woods and metals but the only thing we wanted was a little more flexibility for softer woods, even with fine grits you have to be very careful or they will sand too much lol. Overall they work great for most of our projects and the range of sizes and grits was great but be careful with softwoods. I think we've been spoiled with a really old one, we actually have flappers and contour well, but for the price and size a very good choice that we'll most likely be ordering again.
