We used this film to cover the lower half of a bedroom window in a newly built country cottage. I don't like curtains but just wanted some privacy at night. This film makes it difficult to look outside to see the bedroom clearly. When light penetrates the film, it breaks up into beautiful prismatic patterns on the walls. I found it easy to install. I measured the glass I wanted to cover and cut the film to that size. Window glass must be cleaned and then moistened before the film is stuck on. The film itself is covered with a transparent film, which must be removed from the patterned film. After they separate, a flat piece of foil is placed on top of the damp glass and then squeezed (I used a credit card) to force out the air bubbles. As long as it is firmly attached to the window.
