Exactly what I was looking for. Slightly lower than most which makes them the most comfortable for my foot height. The desired shape is not a square, but not a huge rectangle, which in turn makes it as comfortable as possible, since the legs will not slide off the sides. Soft"soft" top. Attractive with buttons. For me, the extra storage was a bonus! I can keep my slippers handy with a few other items. (My husband didn't even know they had a save feature!) Pop up. Put the lid on and you're good to go!
