Review on Evriholder Hairstopper 2pk: Ultimate Drain Protection for Bathtubs & Showers (Pack of 2) by Mark Lodge

I could not find any photos of this item other than those from above to see how far below the surface of the tub the center would drop into the sink. I ordered it anyway, thinking I could just cut the center section off if needed. It turns out it goes down about an inch, but fits our stock perfectly. When moving out into the drain, the item stays in place even if hit by water pouring out of the tub's spout. Most of the hair gets caught on the outside so it could be worked without the center part. It's made of lightweight, flexible plastic with small spurs all around to keep stuck hair out. Because it's somewhat flexible, it fits our sink better than the upside-down metal we had before (which was designed for kitchen sinks). I've seen hair slip down the edge, although I'm not sure if it's going down the drain. If there is a lot of hair, it closes the lower rows of drainage holes, which means that water and soapy water cannot drain away unhindered, but only hair products are removed. Began to show signs of discoloration after a few months of use. Finally, even with bleach, it couldn't be fully cleaned. As the material is very light I don't expect this item to last very long. It works well for us as it seems to capture most if not all of the hair. After all, this is the goal. So I recommend it. Update: Since the Euryholder I bought only came with one cork, not two, and wasn't eligible for the Super Shipper Savings program, I went with one of the others, which is the LDR 501 3400. Although it's cheaper. , LDR doesn't work that well. Its design doesn't drain water as well as the Euryholder. The central part with drainage holes has a smaller diameter, and if hair collects around it, water cannot penetrate. And since there's nothing on it that would rest against the bathtub drain, it doesn't always stay in place. The material seems to be the same. If there's free shipping with a euro holder, there's no reason not to buy it instead.
