This monitor has fantastic specs and plenty of ports to achieve exactly what we need. The clarity was great, but two issues forced us to return it. Our machine had a color shift, half the screen was tinted green, the other half was tinted red (you might get lucky and it won't). Second, the monitor shook a lot, more than any other I've used. If you are using a desktop mount, it has a 100x100 vesa mount, you can do this and have no problem. We ended up with the 32" version and it didn't change color and didn't rock as much (still a little, but not as much). Hope that helps.
