Review on πŸ’Ž Enhance Polishing Performance with United Abrasives SAIT 41000 Buffing Compound by Brandon Wynen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No spacers in the packaging, cross contamination

The packaging I received did not contain the spacers shown in the photo and the material of each strip was smeared with the adjacent strips. This may seem like a no-brainer, but I polish aluminum and sanding aluminum with an iron-based abrasive causes corrosion. The red stripe is probably based on iron oxide and probably shouldn't be used on aluminum. So I wiped each bar down with an acetone-soaked rag, then washed them with water and dish soap, rinsed thoroughly, dried them, and placed them in separate resealable plastic bags. Of course, you shouldn't use different stones with the same polishing wheel - use a separate wheel for each stone.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
