Review on πŸ”’ Bendable Rubber-Coated UST Gear Snake: Reliable Steel Core for Secure Equipment Tying, Hiking, Camping, and Outdoor Survival by Nathan Skipper

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is very overpriced for what it is.

The wire in the middle of the rubber seems a bit flimsy. I cut it easily with standard scissors and it came off easily with no additional fastening of the ends required. I used this to attach a flashlight to some crutches. I used the existing holes in the crutch to tuck the ends of the wire inside so they don't come loose and press against the user. However, the rubber coating does not slip; twisted so tightly that the wire holds the flashlight without light leaking out.

Pros
  • Build quality
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
