Review on Enhanced Whirlpool W10811169 Touchpad and Control Panel for Improved User Experience by David Fields

Symptom: The control panel on my normally excellent dishwasher was not responding. Obvious issue: Corrosion/heat damage to ribbon cable (see photo). Solution: This product was an identical replacement. This was absurdly easy to fix - unscrew 4 Torx 10 screws, disconnect wires, connect wires, line up the slots in the panel with the slots in the door and install the 4 screws. Just make sure you have a size 10 torx screwdriver. It took me maybe 10 minutes because I cleaned the dirt around the screw holes. Everything went back to normal, and I ended up striking a heroic pose.
