I bought this knowing it was a single use product. I mean depends on the price. Anyone who uses this type of tool knows that good sharpeners don't come cheap. Not $12 a piece, cheap. I used one to clean the inside of an aluminum tube I was welding and it got too hot. It served its purpose, but you can see how much wear and tear it has had. Only one stone was missing. If I had soaked the stone beforehand, I'm sure it would have lasted longer. The rest is well made and will last a long time with proper use. Such honing should not bend. The spring must compensate for the misalignment. Did what I needed. I will find spare stones and have a good tool.
