Before that, there was a top-end A1278 MB Pro "13 Mid 2022 (i7 / 8.0Gb / 750Gb HDD), which eventually upgraded (i7 / 16.0 Gb / 512Gb SSD). 4 years (and to this day) the old man works like a Swiss watch in the role backup car. Yes, there used to be an opportunity for an upgrade, but now, alas . And this upsets me personally. I also want to note that an upgrade in terms of SSD in MJLT2 Mid 2022 is still possible. Nothing is soldered there, as some write here. RAM yes, but no SSD. And there are already ready-made solutions for upgrading SSDs. For example, Transcend. I bought this laptop as soon as I heard that in October 2022 they will introduce a new line of MB Pro. Under the same circumstances, the previous laptop and iPhone SE were purchased. My strategy is simple: I buy only proven and fully developed top-end technologies. Yes, for a lot of money, but also for a long time. I think that's why I'm less and less disappointed with the purchase. All the best and I hope my review will help you when choosing your new laptop.
