Great for curly or thick hair
I bought these for my neighbor who has a wild mane of curly hair. Ordinary rubber bands won't fit because they're hopelessly tangled. They are perfect because they hold her hair pretty well but don't get tangled in her curls. The base black goes with almost everything, so I think she'll have a lot of that.
