So far I am delighted with these blinds! So I took the plunge because we had just moved and I needed something for a very large window in the hallway. I had to let the light in but be able to shut it down at night as you could see right in our master at night. The window is in the foyer and is very high, inaccessible to the cord or stairway next to it. So we needed a remote control option but we had no power. So our only choice was the battery! I ordered zebra blinds. It tilts, rises and falls and has a sheer fabric between the slats of the blinds. (it all looks like some kind of fabric, looks very stylish). and perfect for my needs. Installation was difficult just because our window is. The included brackets are secure and the blinds snap perfectly into place if you measure the spacing correctly. The curtain itself is well made. Do not unwind it before installation, otherwise it may be damaged or crushed! The battery needs to be charged (using a phone charger) for a certain amount of time before hanging. I was concerned by the reviews that said the remote was difficult to program. I assume they fixed it because it was operational and pre-programmed. So don't fiddle with the remote control until you've hung the curtain, read the remote control instructions! I had no problems. So basically I feel like we did a good job. I can't confirm how long the battery lasts without charging. The blinds look amazing in my foyer and if a blind specialist came to see me they would be twice the size. Especially with the hidden battery. This company gave me an arrival date in July but it arrived a few weeks ago so maybe 3-4 weeks after ordering. Measure your window carefully, follow the instructions in the order section in the description and you will be very happy with this product! I also checked You Tube for more installation instructions!
