Review on Fiskars 197940-1002 Ergo Control Rotary Cutter, 60mm: Precision Cutting Tool for Fabric, Quilting, and Sewing Projects by Dawn Fischer

This is a very good knife for the price. The large size lets you cut through fabric quickly, and the safety features are good for those of us who can get a little distracted. It can either be squeezed while you use it, or the blade can be locked in the open position, which is a good option for those with arthritis or those who just don't want to keep squeezing the handle. Edited to add - had to knock. Deducting a few stars because the locking mechanism stopped working after a few months. It didn't stop working at all, it suddenly closes when I use it, which is almost worse than not working at all. It still works great when I open it manually, but I really prefer being able to use it closed.
