Add up the cost of the two additional Spark batteries and then calculate how much the charging station will cost you. Crazy not to buy it with two extra batteries! Works as advertised. The charging dock is actually great storage for the Spark and two extra batteries. It's fairly compact, and allowing two spare batteries to fit under the Spark's handles is quite inventive. While you certainly couldn't let your Spark ride in the back seat of a car, you might feel a little better putting it on this charging dock and driving around with it. Better still, the cases that are made for this thing are pretty cheap. DJI makes a case that only fits this charging station, but I chose a third-party case that contains the charging station, RC controller, and a third compartment that houses the power bank. My entire kit is tiny - I've flown 48" wings before so it's pretty damn compact! The charging station is just as important as the Spark itself, and the 2 extra batteries make buying the bundle worthwhile!
