This is the perfect makeup sponge. I have tried many different sponges and brushes and this one is my favorite. The wide end of this sponge has the right contour and elasticity for applying foundation. It covers a large surface area and applies more evenly than beauty blenders and is softer than Sephora sponges. The pointed end of the sponge is perfect for my inner corners of my eyes and around my nose. I used to buy a mini beauty blender for this. I also like the "waist" of the sponge because it's easier to hold. My nails keep digging into the center of the egg shaped sponges, causing that part to crack over time. I can hold this sponge in the middle without digging into it with my nails. I find the price for 2 high quality sponges a bargain.
