It works! It does need better padding around the collar, though, and it would be nice if it was something natural like cotton rather than a foam rubber-like material. They need ventilation holes (yes, even if the parrot grabs and nibbles them). This type of collar will eventually be destroyed by the parrot, but that's to be expected. I would like it to be "shorter" as my parrot only needs protection for its upper chest and not its entire body. And it's so long that it's a bit difficult to climb up the bars of the cage. (My bird is Goffin's cockatoo.)
