Disappointed no glitter/shine

Thought it was a bit shimmery/shiny based on the gold marble photos. Only the printing makes it look like gold. a pretty ordinary wrist and mouse pad set, and it smells like it always does. I've had it for maybe 2 weeks so far and I have no complaints (apart from the lack of shine). I took some photos in the shade. and the sun so buyers can see the color scheme.
