According to reviews, the sound should have opened up after using 20-30 hours. Yes, it really got better, but not for long - after 5 months the left earpiece almost died, it sounds quiet. With its pros: Build quality, wire quality (does not tangle, does not "get stiff" in the cold), design. Cons below: After a few months, the left earpiece began to play noticeably quieter, with no visible damage. I couldn't find a comfortable ear pad size. Previous Sonys for the same price were much more comfortable and sounded good almost immediately, and then opened up and sounded better. Lasted almost 2 years before they broke.
