Can't believe I found them again! I used them exclusively a few years ago and then for some reason they stopped being sold in stores. The material they are made of is similar to pantyhose but thicker. Unlike most other hair ties, they don't have a seam that always ends in a tear. They hold thick hair very well and very firmly without being bulky like most. When you first take one out, it's quite small and tight in girth and won't fit your wrist, but will stretch over time without losing its ability to hold hair.
