Review on McKesson Standard Pillowcase 21W x 30L Disposable White Tissue/Poly 18-917 100 Ct by Victoria Turner

Takes minutes, not hours. Not for resting and sleeping, only for exams

They serve as pillowcases for exam pillows, which can be changed after a short visit. They are certainly useless for resting or as a pillowcase to touch the body of the weak or sick. They are very malleable, with a paper-thin layer of paper on the outside, making them not absorbent enough. They're almost entirely moisture wicking, so while they're a moisture barrier, it's true that they're like using regular trash bags to cover your pillow. When they touch the body, face, head, arms, legs, etc., they become wet, hot and slippery with sweat within minutes. They need a better outer layer so that they can also be used as a pillowcase for one night. As soon as they get sweaty, plastic and paper-thin paper begin to disintegrate and tear. After one night of use I had a lump of debris near the pillow, it fell apart. They tear and tear very easily. They will probably work as germ/moisture pads just on top of a pillow but under a real cloth or plain paper disposable pillowcase. If you're dealing with an infection or long-term illness, this is a poor choice. I was hoping to change them once every morning and night to prevent infection and reduce the burden of washing. but they only disintegrate after an hour or two. They're really just exam covers meant to be used for a few minutes and not at all suitable for lounging around or actual use in bed.
