This is the best toenail clipper I have ever used. Compared to the best clippers I've bought in stores before, they have a sharper tip, better protective cap, better tension and a superior grip. SHARP POINT: Also a sharp blade. This is necessary for me because I can't use all of my toes properly. I'm an older, plus-size man with arthritis, so I've almost given up being able to trim my toenails properly. This clipper cuts if I place it carefully, even if I don't have a lot of leverage and can't apply much pressure. SCHUTZKAPPE: I've often pricked myself with other hair clippers to look for them in my drawer. What's worse, the tips dull quickly. Not with these! The sturdy, easily bendable plastic lid protects them well and won't fall off in a drawer or suitcase. However, it is transparent so I used markers to decorate mine and prevent loss. BEST TENSION: I've only been using these clippers for two weeks so I can't guarantee how long they will last, but with the tension lever in place the tension is firmer than my previous brand ever had. This is another reason why I can cut my toenails even if they are not in the perfect position. SUPERIOR HANDLES: Zizzili clippers DO NOT have soft, soft handles; However, the shape is comfortable, the finish is pleasant to the touch (as opposed to bare metal), and the grip is thick enough to provide excellent control. Unlike my previous clippers that had soft grips that slipped off after a few weeks of use, these clippers have a permanently attached grip. WARNING: Due to the high voltage and sharp tip, I do not recommend this clipper for people who may experience hand instability. In fact, I would NOT recommend clippers in such a case; You need a professional, friend or relative with firm hands and a good heart. However, if you are lucky enough to have such a person, I think having a clipper of this quality will make their job easier.
