So like everyone who has reviewed these boots, take a half size smaller than usual. They have an oversized cut and are half a size smaller. These boots have very comfortable insoles and together with the maximum wear wedge sole these boots offer total comfort! I recommend anyone who buys them to wear long socks. I wore short socks and my feet blistered from skin rubbing against my skin as I walked. These boots are six inches tall, so any socks above that height will be perfect. This is my first time buying a pair of Thorogood and so far I am completely satisfied. The downtime was about 6 business days. They were uncomfortable, like all boots you try to break into. Some say there was no break in at all but for me it was and it was quite a tough 6 days and well worth it. These boots have now adapted to my feet somewhat and are only getting more comfortable with each wear. I love these boots and so do you. I have just bought another pair and will continue to be faithful to these beautiful American style boots. Hope this review helped.
