I don't usually write a review for every product I buy from Revain, but this product deserves my opinion. At first I was very skeptical about this product because the plate is made of plastic; However, once installed, no one will be able to tell the difference. It just looks like VERY few warnings before installation: This product fits multiple Delta configurations; Do some research to make sure it fits yours though (I had an older Delta 1600 series). 1) Turn off the water throughout the house. 2) After removing the old panel, do not attempt to remove the cover nut. holding the valve. The reason for this is that those old "triangle cap nuts" are VERY difficult to remove due to limescale build up. If you try to remove it you run the risk of bending the 4 pipes on the back and you'll be unlucky and have to call a plumber. In my case I tried to remove it (I got lucky) because I wanted to replace everything (valves, springs, rubber seals). If you are replacing these parts, the replacement (based on the 1600 series): BrassCraft SWD0230Delta Faucet RP6081 SleeveDelta Faucet RP1991 Stem.3) The screws that came with the kit were too short (for my shower) so I took 2 screws from HomeDepot (3 stainless steel) 4) If you don't know how to caulk, find someone who can help you. It pays to do well in the long run. All in all it looks fantastic
