I read some reviews about rust. Mine is not rusty and I bought it in 2010. Mine is clean so I know it won't rust on the inside either. It does wonders for my lashes, separating them, smoothing out clumps and spreading mascara better than a magic wand. Apply a layer of mascara to one eye (upper OR lower lash) and brush through. Repeat with other lashes. Apply a layer of mascara to each "set" of lashes (e.g. top OR bottom) - this must be used while the mascara is damp or it will pull your lashes out. When applying a second coat, be sure to comb through the strands between coats and after the last coat. Teeth come out, but for me it's fine for cleaning (and drying) (just don't throw it down the drain). ;) It also works particularly well on the brows if you use "eyebrow mascara". Brow "brushes" can remove/ruin/smear brow mascara while this eyelash comb pretties brows (again, use this while brow mascara is still wet). The teeth are very sharp, so you need to be careful with them and use careful touches. If your hands are shaking I wouldn't recommend it due to the risk of injury.
