I used this with Windows 10 today and have no complaints. It was recognized immediately and was ready for use right out of the box without any further action on my part. I've backed up about a dozen files and folders with no problem, including several photo book-sized WORD files. When I opened a large file from "USB Drive D" in the "This PC" window, it opened in a flash. I'm very happy today, but the "test of time" was what I felt was important. Will it work just as well in a year, two, or three years if I suddenly need those backup files? I've never seen this before, having used a dozen different brands as backup or cache over the years. It even caught fire (!) when I went through the "Safely Remove Hardware Device" protocol, making it easier to find on the back of the processor box. It comes in a very large clear plastic case that's over-molded with quite a bit of foam BUT there's no way to secure this joystick in a shirt pocket as it's not the type that has a built in pop up lid. You must use the original large packaging or protect it in some other way.
