Review on 💡 JOVNO Universal Power Supply: Adjustable AC/DC Adapter 4V-12V 10A 120W with LED Display & 14 Plugs - Ideal for LED Strips, Motors, and Speakers by Jose Morrison

This power supply is at least 4 volts, not three as advertised (yes, even under load). The output current of the PSU at 12V is 0.5A. The knob for adjusting the voltage is actually quite easy to use (some variable PSUs are so sensitive that they cannot be properly adjusted). The actual voltage measured from several meters is approximately 0.2V lower than that shown on the display. The dial used to select the voltage also acts as an on/off switch, with the "off" position being fully counterclockwise. The problem is that the switch doesn't turn off the capacitors in the power supply. It continues to drain for almost 10 minutes after it's turned off - yes, even under load. During discharge, when the power needs to be shut off, the display will continue to flash and show the voltage every few seconds. It doesn't inspire much confidence. It comes with a pretty useful set of adapters - the polarity switch is one that many kits like this leave out for some reason. The build quality looks and feels very cheap. The unit itself has mounting tabs to attach it to a test stand or similar, but the tabs are very brittle plastic and I don't expect them to withstand many heat and cold cycles. All in all, the adapter is still usable. , but does not match the advertised specs and looks very poorly constructed, I do not recommend.
