The thread size is actually 3/8-20 on one of the 4 picks we ordered. It becomes more difficult if you buy the device before it arrives. Also, one of the blocks we ordered broke transversely with very little effort. We mount at the very bottom of the threaded stem so I would be very hesitant to use this product to raise the bench very high.
