flat mounted = good. everything else = bad.
This slot has the advantage of being flat on the back, making it easy to mount anywhere. Most slots are not flat on the back. but as others have said the metal seems cheap and the hinge has a lot of friction. Our old slot was from this brand and lasted about 6 years before falling apart (hinge)
