If you want a light to turn on and off with ONLY a push button function, then this is fine bright light . If you want it to work like a true touch light, meaning it turns on when you move and stays on while you move, then look elsewhere. I mounted this bracket above my kitchen sink just above head level under the cabinets using the included tape which works really well. I put it in sensor mode (sensor and sensor/light, I've tried both) and it just turns on and I'm literally less than 12 inches under, washing in the sink ie moving, and it turns off and then turns on again. again and not constantly feeling like I'm moving and staying. An email from the company gave me nothing more than a standard answer on how to put it in sensor mode and didn't solve the problem of it not staying on while I was moving. I even tried to keep moving by waving my arm. all the time after turning it on it goes off and on again. I don't know if it's defective or if it's a programming error where the sensor doesn't poll for movement just before shutting down. Either way, it sucks for touch lighting. When it's on it's very bright which is a real shame as it fits nicely under a cupboard and disappears which is exactly what I wanted. I think I'll have to use a wired LED strip and ditch the motion sensor.
