It makes a lot of sense to carry your vacuum cleaner on your back; You can walk freely without dragging anything. My back didn't hurt and I didn't have to bend down. At first I slammed it against the walls, but it only takes a few minutes to get used to it. Great vacuuming and vacuuming just feels easy now. A small note: the brochure that came with mine didn't describe all of the parts that came with it, so I had to guess how to use some vacuum attachments or what they were for. Please: update the brochure. Otherwise great vacuum cleaner!
