Untenable. security threat.

You are not strong enough. Period. We bolted both lengths of this bed rail (54" and 80") to the frame of our queen bed. We've also tried linking them to the "y method" described in the product photos and this method is even less reliable. The big problem is that you can only screw on the very ends of these bed rails. So with an 80" bed rail you only have 2 areas of support to ensure the rails don't move. There is no middle support that defies any logic. The whole block above these points is so flexible that it is incomprehensible to the mind. You can't make them sturdy enough to be safe for kids. For the price we paid I was expecting at least some quality, but the only quality that would be here is the power supply/material itself. Also worth mentioning that it doesn't matter No matter how safe you try, there will be a gap between the side of the mattress and the power pack that your child can and will get stuck in. I know they are not intended to be used as tested in my video, but they are advertised for both toddlers and babies. If your little one gets interested on their bed and puts ANY weight against them, there's no guarantee the railing won't collapse and cause serious injury.
