Choose the right cutting head and be patient
This has worked fine on all my irons. I clean them after every round. But after using this tool, you realize that sometimes there is still dirt in the grooves. Before you begin, make sure you have the right sharpener for your clubs. And it's metal-on-metal, so yes, it takes a little effort to use. Just be patient, it worked wonderfully.
