Yes, Garmin can be stuck to glass, but removing and re-attaching is painful. When I park my car with this little pillow and don't want to leave the Garmin in sight, I just put the pillow and Garmin on the ground. Then put it back when I'm ready to use it. It is so easy. It is very practical and now that I have this mat I use Garmin a lot more. My friend saw it yesterday and asked me to send her the details for the order myself. It's heavier than I thought it would be, but that keeps it from slipping. So if I'm flying somewhere on a trip because I'm using a small carry-on bag, I'm probably not going to take it just for the weight. I highly recommend this product.
