Great little backpack

Pretty cute little backpack. I wanted something smaller for day trips and long bike rides. That fits the bill. A little small maybe, but that's because I'm used to a lot more. The good thing about the size is that you have to think about what you're taking. Now I realize I'm not lugging all that extra stuff up and down hills. The belts seemed strange at first, but I really liked the design. I'm not sure what they would look like if you were walking in a tank top or shirtless (with the straps next to the skin). Lack of padding isn't a problem as the backpack is very light and I don't pack any extra stuff. Now I understand that padding is only needed when weight is important. I sweat a lot on summer hikes. My back isn't exactly dry, but it's soooo nicer. Great design. The Hydration Pack is probably the best you will find. Unfolding means easy and thorough cleaning and quick drying of the inside. The absence of BPA is of great concern these days as people are aware of the horrible effects it has on the body.
