This is the second one I've bought so they can't be that bad. I bought the first one in October 2015, it's already over 6 years old. Some of the lining fabric sagged and things didn't stand still. But for the price, it's very durable. And with the zipper, I never had to worry about anything falling out. It starts very thin when empty. You can fill it with a lot of stuff and because of its size, it doesn't feel that thick even when full. For example, I found it very comfortable to wear ThinOptics glasses.
