love hate c Socket strips and surge protection

With features, 6 sockets, 2 USB ports and surge protection, the thing looks great on paper. I have it under my computer desk, with my computer, two monitors, a table lamp. I took it for $11. Great offer. I have an iPhone connected to USB with a long cable. Everything works great. I have to charge my iPhone in another room, so I rip out the Lightning USB cable and the whole thing falls off the wall. Oops, my computer, my monitors are off. I turn it back on and thank god everything works! I connect a wall outlet to my external HD. The plugs are hinged so it fits snugly. I go to turn it off and it falls out of the wall again! This is a new outlet. Not even a cheap outlet, it's next to HD. Why the hell isn't there a screw to hold it? Even my cheap no-surge GE power strip that I own has a screw to hold it in place. And as others have pointed out, it hangs at an angle because the actual plug is in the bottom socket. So now I have to turn the swivel to the side and carefully, holding the pulley with one hand and gently pulling on the line with the other, I can pull the line out without falling out. Annoying, especially the location of my outlet, and with my expensive and important devices plugged in, there's too much risk of it falling out that I'm looking for something else. I also constantly check that it sits flush against the wall and isn't leaning.
