I have long struggled with the lighting in Zoom meetings. My desk is against a wall and I don't have enough room to switch seats, reflecting enough light off the wall to illuminate my face well and not looking like a ghoul was annoying and not entirely successful. I just got this light and it's insanely amazing how much better and stronger the light is on my face now and how much better I look in camera with this light, both the MacBook camera and the external camera. I was concerned that the ring light in my computer glasses would be oddly reflective, but I don't see that as a problem with this light. There is speculation that it is there, but I don't have the alien rings of light in the center of my glass lenses that I've seen in some YouTube videos. That looks great. My table top is thick (2 inches) and the mounting clamp doesn't open as far or tight enough. I don't want to push it to try, that's fine, I just snap it onto the MacBook base and it's perfectly stable, easy to set up and ready to go. Happy with the purchase, I would buy again.
