Socket appears to be made from lightweight parts, likely suitable for use in low traffic areas. I wouldn't rely on this output for areas that are accessed frequently due to unreliable component reliability. I'm more concerned about the lack of UL badges that I could find on the device. The manufacturer's description of the device says it's UL listed, so I'm not sure why the symbol is missing. I found that the reverse wiring feature is designed to require the user to tighten the adjacent component's screw to secure the rear wire. Since the user must tighten the screw, the time saved for the installer is minimal compared to such sockets where the return pin bites the wire as it is inserted. I didn't see anything inherently dangerous in this device. However, the user must carefully consider where these units will be installed and how they will be used during their lifetime as their manufacturing profile is designed for light duty applications in my opinion.
