Doesn't work for my thinning hair but that doesn't mean they don't work. They are small, about 1 inch wide and 3/4 long, and the teeth are strong, if somewhat rough. 20 pieces per pack, they are very suitable for the hairstyle. As for me, I don't use fixatives like hairspray or gel and my hair is probably four feet long so it just doesn't hold my hair up due to the weight. I have fine hair but long strands. For people with medium shoulder length hair, probably better than my experience. Worth a try because I can get them to go without hairspray for about an hour and they don't pucker, they just squirm.
