These speakers sound good if you like high frequencies but I'm sure your phone's equalizer can fix that. I have yet to install it but will update this post once I do. As for the performance of these speakers, I can hear them at 80+ freeway speeds. I mounted two on the steering wheel and two on the engine guard. I hear one of these on the steering wheel, so I have to move the other two in somewhere, which should further amplify the sound at highway speeds. The only other downside, aside from the lack of bass, would be their size. Four speakers of this size are not designed to be placed on the steering wheel. If the size of the case could be reduced a bit without reducing the size of the speakers, especially the depth, they would be easier to place. In general, these are good speakers that are really audible on the highway.
