Hung devices must be hung! Complete defect!
Suspension fittings bad/defective/stupid. The distance between the screw holes in the wall brackets is too small for the thick screws and dowels supplied. In other words, follow the instructions - you'll end up with gaping holes in the wall and no viable brackets to hang the lampshade. Absolutely unforgivable! The fittings are literally designed to fail! I finally got the screen up after getting thinner anchors and screws to attach the brackets. The tint itself doesn't work properly yet. He doesn't want to stay down. I will take care of it tomorrow.
