Doesn't provide a stable power supply
This device is little better than a resistor with a voltage display. It reduces the input voltage from anywhere between 1.2 to 2.5 volts, but does not maintain a stable output voltage and simply reduces the input voltage to the output voltage at a constant ratio, somewhat adjustable with an adjustment potentiometer.
