Review on Enhance Your Comfort and Productivity with the Ergonomic Computer Desk Chair: Adjustable Height, Lumbar Support, Breathable Mesh, and Flip-up Arms for Optimal Support - White+Grey by Michelle Doebke

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Narrow, low profile chair ideal for small spaces, casters don't work so well on carpets

Made in China, this chair is lightweight and fairly comfortable, with a smaller profile and more modern look. well packaged and padded and easy to assemble. Insert 5 wheels on the bottom. Place the plunger in the center of the bottom. Attach the handle mechanism to the bottom of the chair (including the piston) using the 4 screws (included). and an Allen key (included). Just in case, the kit includes an extra screw, which is very convenient. Place the chair on the plunger and pull the handle that raises and lowers it to seat it. Pull the back of the chair to a sitting position (vertical), remove all protective materials. Lower the armrests. Release the recline tension with the knob on the bottom of the chair to the desired recline force. Adjust the lumbar support with the straight bars you can see in the last picture to release the lumbar support to move it up or down. by request. That's all. This takes about 20 minutes, most of which is spent removing the protective materials. I'm 5ft 6in, size 2XL and this chair fits me perfectly. Mesh lets air through for hotter rooms. a sweater that I wear over the back of my chair when I need to, because in the summer my office is like a meat cellar when the air conditioning comes on. Lumbar support is good, adjustment is easy. The lumbar support and the adjustment rods are made of plastic. The lumbar support is loose enough to conform to the body. The armrests are a reasonable height. but not adjustable up or down. They can be folded all the way up so that the chair can be used as a secretary chair without armrests. I found the seat to be well padded and quite comfortable. However, the seat felt smooth, and I didn't feel as secure as it might rolling a chair around the table. I walk around my desk a lot during the day, so this is important to me. A little more padding at the front of the seat or on the contour would be nice for more security when sitting and driving. The tilt has good positioning, but it's a bit stiff. I'm sure it will loosen up over time like most chairs. The casters don't roll very easily and smoothly on the industrial carpet I have in my office. They look like good casters and are reliable enough, but they just aren't smooth on carpet. Perhaps they are standing on a carpet or smooth floor. I didn't try it as our office has carpets everywhere including the hallways. I think this is a good chair for a tighter space that doesn't have rugs or where you don't have to move the chair around a lot and it's quite comfortable. Recommended for small spaces.
