Review on First Manufacturing Company Mercer Canvas Motorcycle Shirt for Men by Matthew Blustein

This First Mfg Co canvas motorcycle jacket is the heaviest canvas jacket I have ever seen. From the moment you wear it you will feel that it will protect you from almost everything except a nuclear blast. However, despite the super heavy material, it wasn't too stiff and was quite comfortable from the first time you put it on. The hand pockets are good and the zipper is solid too. I have a very stocky build, 5ft 6in, 175lbs, 44in chest. I chose size XL based on what I had read as I wanted it to be loose enough to wear in the winter. I am very glad that I ordered XL. It was a good size across the shoulders and chest for layering underneath, but the arms are surprisingly small in diameter and limit layering somewhat. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But make no mistake, this jacket is a godsend for the price, it's durable and warm enough without insulation underneath. It also looks really good and is what to wear on a night out on the town.
