Let me first say that I really like the look of this collar and the material it is made of. However, after wearing the collar for about a month, I noticed that the hair on my dog's neck where the buckle was located was falling out and the skin was very irritated. There were even a few small pimple-like spots. I'm not sure if it was because the buckle was really pulling at the fur over time or if the material in the buckle was just irritating my dog. In any case, when you buy this collar, pay special attention to the area where the buckle is located on your dog's neck. If helpful at all, my dog is 45 pounds and has a fairly thin neck with very little hair, which certainly didn't help the situation.
