First of all, my son LOVES this sweater. It's heavier than a regular hoodie, so it's great for not-quite-wintry weather. My son is 4'8' and weighs 64 pounds (yes he's a beanstalk, and yes he eats. A LOT!). I ordered a large based on other reviews and it fits him perfectly. He usually wears a medium or crop top from Children's Place and I'd say it fits him just as well. It hasn't been in the wash yet, so I can't say how it will hold up, but I'll change my rating if I'm completely disappointed. Lamb down lining always gets a little sad after many washes (tumble dry is more likely to hurt), so we're prepared for that. We haven't noticed any peeling on the dark colored garments and so far we're really liking them. It's a bit pricey at $36, but we're very happy with our purchase. My fourth grader feels "really cool" in it (and keeps him warm on those cold, rainy Oregon fall mornings) - what more could a mom want?
