This hair straightener is easy to use. After turning it on (the switch is in the handle), it only heats up for about a minute. No temperature control which wasn't a problem for me - it was hot enough to straighten my hair but not too hot. The outsides of the handles are curved so you can use them to easily curl the ends of your hair. He did a great job straightening my hair.
